Al Ahly Club Inaugurates New Branch in Mansoura, Appoints New Coach

Al Ahly has opened a new branch in New Mansoura City and appointed Moroccan coach Hussein Amouta amid a series of club activities in July 2026.

• Al Ahly held a foundation-stone ceremony for its new branch in New Mansoura City on Monday, attended by former players including Ahmed Shobier, Shady Mohamed, and Hossam Ashour.
• The club appointed Moroccan Hussein Amouta as head coach, replacing Danish coach Yas Turop, with Amouta stating he aims to compete for all titles.
• Former Al Ahly player Alyou Diang, who joined Valencia on a free transfer after last season, said he is grateful for the move to La Liga.
• Former club vice president Yassin Mansour told broadcaster Amr Adeeb that Al Ahly will return to winning the Egyptian league and that Zamalek will not win it for six or seven years.
