Appeal Hearing Begins for Defendant Accused of Hitting People with Car Displaying Israeli Flag

The North Giza Misdemeanor Court has begun hearing the appeal of a defendant accused of injuring three people and damaging vehicles after a dispute over an Israeli flag sticker on his car.

• Attorney Ahmad Hamad, representing the defendant, challenged a medical report and demanded a five-doctor committee from Abbasia Hospital evaluate his client.
• The incident occurred when the defendant drove his car at high speed in Kerdasa, injuring three people and damaging four cars following a verbal altercation over the flag sticker.
• Eyewitnesses told the court that the defendant attempted to flee from gathered residents before losing control of the vehicle and crashing.
