EU and International Donors Announce €600 Million Aid Package for Gaza

The European Union and partner donors have unveiled an initial €600 million support package for Gaza at a ministerial meeting in Brussels.

• The EU and international donors announced a €600 million aid package for Gaza, allocated to early recovery, infrastructure rehabilitation, and basic services.
• The EU stressed the need to consolidate the ceasefire and ensure unhindered access for aid and reconstruction materials.
• The second ministerial meeting of the Palestine Donor Group convened in Brussels, chaired by Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammad Mustafa, EU Commissioner Dubravka Šuica, and EU High Representative Kaja Kallas.
• The package will support health, education, water, sanitation, energy, housing, food security, job creation, governance, and rule of law.
