Amnesty International UK has expressed regret over a briefing that listed a sexual violence support centre founded by JK Rowling as part of an "anti-rights movement."

• The briefing was temporarily withdrawn after Amnesty said it was uploaded without internal review and did not reflect its positions.
• Amnesty stated it remains committed to defending the rights of both women and trans people.
• Lesley Johnston, chief executive of Beira's Place, said the description was "deeply offensive" to staff and survivors.
