Cairo and Giza traffic authorities intensify enforcement campaigns

Traffic police have deployed intensified campaigns across Cairo and Giza to monitor violations and clear obstructions.

• The General Administration of Traffic reinforced its presence on Cairo streets and squares to remove breakdowns and accidents obstructing traffic.
• Traffic officers launched intensive campaigns to record all types of violations and remove abandoned cars causing congestion.
• Campaigns were stationed on main axes and roads in Giza to enforce traffic rules and reduce accidents from wrong‑way driving and illegal parking.
• The administration intensified highway patrols to prevent drugged driving and deployed rescue vehicles and motorcycles.
