Egyptian police arrest man for stealing electrical wires from under-construction house in Port Said

Egypt's security forces arrested the perpetrator of a theft of electrical wires from a house under construction in Port Said after a complaint was filed on July 10.

• On July 10, police in Port Said received a complaint from a father accusing an individual of entering an apartment under construction through a window and stealing electrical wires.
• Security authorities identified and arrested the suspect, an unemployed man with a criminal record, who confessed to the theft.
• The suspect said he sold the stolen wires to a scrap dealer with a criminal record; both were arrested and the stolen items were recovered.
