Arab Media Experts Update External Communication Plan

The sixth meeting of the expert team updating the Arab media action plan abroad convened at the Arab League headquarters in Cairo.

• Dr. Haider al-Jabouri, director of the Arab Information Ministers Council's technical department, said the meeting discussed member states' proposals for an executive plan to enhance Arab media presence internationally.
• The secretariat received from Palestine a set of documentary works and media materials documenting the history and reality of Palestine, including Israeli violations.
• Participants discussed strengthening cooperation with the Arab States Broadcasting Union and the Federation of Arab News Agencies, and developing news exchange mechanisms with regional and international organizations.
• Al-Jabouri stressed the importance of Arab League missions abroad continuing media programs to support the Palestinian cause and counter the Israeli narrative.
