Red Sea ports handle 71,000 tons of cargo, export phosphate to India and Bulgaria

Egypt's Red Sea ports have reported handling 71,000 tons of goods over 24 hours, including phosphate shipments to India and Bulgaria.

• The ports received 7 commercial ships and recorded 1,500 tons of imports and 69,500 tons of exports.
• The Safaga port saw the departure of the NEW LIBERTY carrying 27,500 tons of phosphate to Bulgaria.
• The NJ SUN departed from Safaga carrying 36,000 tons of phosphate to India.
• The Nuweiba port handled 2,584 tons of cargo and 156 trucks via shuttle trips between Egyptian and Jordanian ports.
