Egyptian Government Pursues Multiple Development Projects Across Infrastructure, Healthcare, and Industry

Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly and several ministers held multiple meetings on July 13 to review progress on state divestment, metro expansion, and heritage revival projects.

• Madbouly chaired a meeting to review the state's divestment plan, reporting that 20 companies out of 30 announced have been temporarily listed on the stock exchange.
• Qalyubia Governor Hossam Abdel Fattah met with Ahmed Moussa, CEO of Masarat Misr, to discuss an initial proposal extending the metro line from Al-Marg to Shibin Al-Qanater, covering approximately 19.2 kilometers.
• Madbouly held a meeting to follow up on the Al-Qarafa Al-Suyuti revival project, with Minister of Awqaf Osama Al-Azhari stating the area contains tombs of scholars from multiple Islamic schools of thought.
• Health Minister Khaled Abdel Ghaffar met with representatives of the specialized medical councils, Novartis, and Telemed to discuss developing the telemedicine system and expanding home healthcare services.
